Maa Katyayini or Devi Katyayani, the 6th form of Nav Durga is worshipped on sixth day of Navaratri (Durga Puja).  Devi Katyayani Mantra is chanted by a girl to invoke the blessings of Katyayani Devi, the sixth manifestation of Mata Durga, to remove issues in marriage life. Maa Katyayani Puja for Marriage

The above Maa Katyayani Marriage Mantra should be recited only in the morning, facing east and facing west in the evening. The Maa Katyayani Marriage Mantra should be recited by a girl at a lonely place.

The Maa Katyayani should be worshipped for at least 21 days and 41 days (maximum). The girl should offer meals to nine minor girls and three small boys. Girl should also offer clothes to boys.
